   My two cats have 3 places to choose from and they use them all. One is an electronic litter box, one is hooded and the other open. To make a good litter box yourself you can get a medium sized storage container like a rubbermaid and cut it down, leaving about 4-5 inches for them to step into and about six inches across. It makes a wonderfull deep box and they don’t throw the litter on the floor and you may find them for about five dollars. They are easily cleaned.

   ok this is a stupid question but do you mean litter box or toilet as in the bathroom?

   My cat does, he uses all three of them, but prefers the one he was trained on. Lol, I guess it is all about convenience for him.
