Question by Jigz: A question about toilet training cats?
im toilet training my cat, and right now, there’s already a hole in the Sitz Bath that is 1 inch in diameter or maybe 1.5. well ive seen pictures that the Sitz Bath doesn’t have any litter at all, but i still put litter in the Sitz Bath. Should i stop putting litter in the Sitz Bath?

Cat toilet training question…?

I have a 1 year old female cat who is partially potty trained… I’ve been working on this for about a month. I started slowly moving her litterbox near the toilet and now she’s been doing really well with only a few accidents on the floor next to the toilet. I’ve put a bowl inside the toilet which has a small amount of litter in it. She uses it perfectly when the tiny bit of litter is in there, but once I take it away she startes pooping on the floor next to the toilet, but will pee in the bowl with no litter. How can I move on to the next step of taking the bowl completly away when she can’t go without litter? Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions? I’m getting SO sick of the litter bowl in my toilet and just want her to understand the idea of going in the toilet with no litter already! ![]()
She IS litter box trained – but I don’t want her to be. Litter boxes are dirty and I never want to go back to that, I’v e come this far and I can’t quit now.

I love my cat a lot, A LOT! He’s like my baby. So I worry about him, perhaps excessivley, but its the truth. So lets say I have him perfectly potty trained, and then I’m out of the house and he falls in the toilet? Would he be able to get back out? Could the toilet water hurt him, especially if he has already urinated or defeceated in it? Sorry for all these questions. he’s a Persian and thus has very furry feet, so I’m not completley unjustified in my worrying.
