Looking for CATS TRAINING? Yes, CATS TRAINING. It’s all here!
www.JoshGuide.com How to Train a Cat Tricks Yes, even cats can be taught tricks. Some cats are easier than others. Here are some techniques that will help you train yours. Step 1 First you need to know what your cat absolutely loves. Step 2 Clicker training works very well on cats. The concept is to get one of these little plastic clickers, click it and treat the cat simultaneously until the cat associates the click with the treat. It is a lot faster to click the clicker than to feed the cat so when the cat actually does the behavior, you can ‘mark’ it and the cat knows the treat is coming. If you just use treats, by the time you give the cat a treat, he or she may be doing a totally different behavior and you are essentially rewarding the new behavior, not the one he/she was doing a second ago. Step 3 Get the cat’s attention. The sound of the freezer door where shrimp is kept usually is enough for my shrimp-lover. Do what works for yours. I always call mine. They so look forward to training (and rewarding) sessions that they always come when called. This means if ever I NEED to call them, they will also come. Step 4 Once you have the cat’s attention, wait (and this may take awesome patience) until he/she makes at least the beginning of the move you want. For example, to make my cat, Nori, “spin” I would move my hand around his head while he is sitting. When he gets up and starts to turn I click and treat. Before long he starts to get up and move around automatically …

Cat pooping on the toilet
People don’t believe me when I say that I’m toilet training my cat, but I am, here’s my proof. Yes, she is literally pooping in the toilet in this video. We’ve been working on training her since December, innitially trying a “free” method of training that didn’t involve buying anything but litter. Raise the litterbox up to the level of the toilet beside the toilet in the bathroom and then place the litterbox on the toilet. After that, switch to a bowl in the toilet filled with toilet bowl, slowly converting from litter to water. It all went perfect up until we started reducing the amount of litter, at which point, she decided she wouldn’t use it. In April, we bought the litter kwitter system ( www.litterkwitter.com ) with the multi-cat addition (5 trays instead of 3, for multiple cats or stubborn older cats). Since then we’ve made great progress with the training. In this vid, she is using tray 3 (of 5, halfway through the system). Since the filming of this, she’s been promoted to the next tray and used it for both number 1 and 2 properly. We estimate about a month and a half (reasonably, if all goes well) and we’ll be done training. The litter’s yellow because it’s a corn based flushable litter so we don’t ruin the plumbing in our apartment with the gray clay based litter. I definitely recommend this to everyone with a cat under the age of 13. Sadah’s about 10yo. It’s cleaner on the cat’s paws than a litter box. It reduces the tracking of litter throughout the house. It …

WOMBAT THE POTTY TRAINED CAT! (ORIGINAL)

this is wombat, the world famous potty trained cat!!!!!! FLUSH WITH CASH Originally published in The Blade on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 By RYAN E. SMITH BLADE STAFF WRITER Everybody poops, but Wombat the cat gets paid for it. His owner, Corey, couldn’t be happier. “I just bought my car insurance with the money,” the Point Place resident said. This arrangement is thanks to what could be the next step in sharing video on the Web: making money from it. Earlier this year,Corey, 30, took some video of his cat using the toilet to go to the bathroom — more about that later — and posted it on the popular video-sharing site YouTube. Before long, he was contacted by a rival site, Metacafe, which offered him a chance to sell a nonexclusive license to the video. In return, Metacafe would pay him 0 for every 20000 viewers. So far, more than 140000 people have watched Wombat tinkle on Metacafe (www.metacafe.com). That’s more than 0 worth. “I was hoping that a couple of people might watch it. I thought it was really neat when maybe 100 people saw it,” Corey said. “Now to have [so many people] seeing the cat and on top of that being paid for it is just unbelievable.” At a time when mega-video sharing sites are overwhelmed with videos, it can be tough to find the good stuff. That’s where Metacafe says it comes in, and why it’s willing to shell out some bucks for entertaining things to watch. “We think we’re the best place to connect that audience with good quality content,” said …

My cat Giannino toilet trained

This is my cat trained to use the toilet instead of a litter box. It took 8 weeks to train him and the effort paid off. NO LITTER BOX! I’m trying to get him to focus his scratching instinct into flushing the toilet and slowly he’s getting there.
